For all those participating this year in the Johnson City Christmas Parade, First Presbyterian Church will have a Manger float with free hot dogs and hot chocolate before the parade at the corner of Legion St. and State of Franklin. Please stop by for a hot dot and hot chocolate! Food served at 5pm till it is gone!

Is there gonna be anything going on for the first Friday in August? I know there is a festival going on the next weekend, but what about Aug. 5th? Just curious. Couldn’t find any info for Aug.

The Zombie Tag was a wonderful idea to get adults and kids alike playing and active. It was clear, safety was a significant issue. Learn from the mistakes and do it again~ It appeared to be a big hit for the teens in the area. Our city needs to do more for this group!

Nancy, we just learned of Hands On! Museum presenting “Animal Secrets” traveling exhibit for October’s First Friday. They plan to also have several therapy dogs visiting…..David
